Sculptra is a liquid that is injected into the areas of the face needing volume. So you will experience a slight needle prick and may experience a pinching sensation. Most patients do not find the injections painful.

The number of treatments depends upon your unique needs, and the depth of folds or deep wrinkles. Many clients receive 2-3 injections over several months. Deeper folds and lines may require additional treatments.

You can resume normal activities immediately, although you should avoid excessive sunlight if any redness or swelling develops. You should also avoid strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours after treatment.
