The Scarlet SRF device is a state-of-the-art esthetic device used for radiofrequency microneedling. Using short-pulse radio frequency with precision microneedling helps to coagulate elastin and fiber in the skin. Scarlet SRF represents the first esthetic device to utilize short pulse radiofrequency to rejuvenate and restore skin to luminous health.
Penetrating deep into the layers of the skin, tiny wounds are created with a microneedle which are simultaneously treated with radiofrequency. The heat from the radiofrequency energy triggers the production of collagen while prompting subdermal tightening and contracting.

The treatment itself takes only about 30 minutes. However, there is a waiting period for the topical anesthetic to take effect. You should plan for your total appointment to take approximately 90 minutes.

No. The areas to be treated are numbed with a topical anesthetic. You may experience a pressing sensation as the tissue contracts in response to the heat. However, the treatment is not painful.

No special preparation is necessary before a Scarlet SRF treatment. However, it is best to avoid extended periods in the sunshine in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment.
